Join us for a Valentine’s Day Patching Workshop at Jeni Falldine Sewing & Design Studio<\/a>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bring a garment, textile, bag, or any other fabric item that you’d like to embellish with a heart shaped patch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jeni Falldine and Sherry Koyama will provide mini-lessons showing two different methods of sewing on your patch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sherry will demo how to hand sew a patch using the traditional Japanese sashiko method, Jeni will demo a machine sewing method with zigzag stitch, and then you\u2019ll have time and work space to practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Come learn a new skill and take home a newly revived piece. It\u2019s a great way to show your love for sustainability and perhaps you\u2019ll leave with a heart on your sleeve!?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– scrap fabric and paper templates to cut your own patches<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– thread<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– needles\/pins<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– sewing machines<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– moral support!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
